Food, service, and atmosphere are all amazing! Only concern is the pricing, they charge $36+ PP for the grill. Two people dining here could easily cost $100+.
They do offer a 10% discount if you pay with cash however, so that’s nice. And tip is already included in your bill, also a plus.
So delicious! All you can eat for $35 in 90 minutes. Plus if you pay cash, you get a 10% discount! They have all kinds of drink options, sides, meats, etc. Really great to bring a group of friends too. We love Korean BBQ so it's always a good deal for my group of friends to do all you can eat. The staff is very fast and friendly! Ira also very clean and cool inside!!
Probably the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I don’t normally write reviews but people need to be warned about this place…
Went here on a Friday night with a party of 7 and immediately got worried upon seeing that we were the only group in there. We all got the Premium AYCE at around 52 dollars per person. It’s clear they don’t get much business these days, so when a group of 7 people come in saying they want to get the premium AYCE I’m sure they saw that as a great opportunity to make as much money as possible. When the first round of meat came, it was partially cooked, grey, and had pre-made grill marks. It wasn’t partially cooked that day, no, it was clearly cooked, then put in the fridge or freezer, and then thawed out and brought to our table…I don’t go to Korean bbq that often, but I’m pretty sure the meats are supposed to be red and fresh, uncooked until it hits the grill.
Then came the issue of not having enough food. With a party of 7, we really should have been split up amongst two grills, rather than all of us sharing one. Obviously a money saving tactic, but I was there with new friends and didn’t want to make things awkward for everyone.
When they brought shrimp out, we only got two per person. Another member of my party complained about this and when they brought out more, they forgot to butterfly and devein the shrimp. If that wasn’t bad enough, the waiter left it cooking for long enough for black burn marks to appear on the shells, which were so stuck on the meat from overcooking that peeling the shells off was a nearly impossible mess of a task.
At the beginning of the meal, the waiter told us that once we have one of everything from the premium menu within 90 minutes, we are then able to choose from the classic menu. By the time we got to that point of the meal however, the waiter came to check on us less and less. Then eventually he TURNED OUR GRILL OFF WITHOUT TELLING US. This absolutely appalled me. The rest of the party I was with just threw in the towel and asked for the check.
I went home still hungry and made a package of frozen ravioli after paying 62 dollars for an ALL YOU CAN EAT MEAL. Again, worst restaurant experience I have ever been a part of. I will never be going back to this place and it is clear they are willing to cut as many corners as they possibly can.
What a great spot for good Korean BBQ. Vast range of choices for variety of meats, especially the Koba steak and marinated short ribs. Their house kimchii was also really good as well. And as a plus, the cooking smoke from the grill did not come home on our clothes. Great spot and will definitely be back as it is alittlw but closer for me.
My husband always has a way of finding places to eat. He said he looked this place up online. This spot is in the tight corner of the Belvedere Square.
Upon arrival notices were posted on the door that masks were required. Once inside, you can visually see there is multiple levels, but the dining area was on the upper level. There was one other party dining when we arrived and escorted to our table.
Each table has a mid-sized grill in the middle of the table. Our first server brought us menus and then after a few minutes asked what we wanted to drink. I had not a clue what to order, so hubby ordered for us. We had the Premier Set. Before the meat was brought out, several dishes were brought out containing from seasoning, sauces, salad, rice, cucumbers, and other items I have not a clue what they were, but I did taste it.
The server brought back water and our sweet iced tea. She then began to start the grill. After several minutes, she returned with with the first set of meat and butter. Once the butter finished melting she placed the meat on the grill. Then she asked were we ready for the heat! Honey hold onto your wigs, that hwat was hot!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 My wig was okay 👌🏾. The utensils provided was a spoon and chopsticks, bring your chopstick skills. We asked for the meat to be cooked medium The meat was well flavored. Each and every piece was cooked before us. Another server came with our next plate of meat, with onions and broccoli. I was full by the time the lamb came out, but I did sample the last round of meat.
We really did enjoy the food and atmosphere. You get to listen/watch to some K-pop music videos. I say if you are ever near Belvedere and York Rd.
We went there for barbecue but it was awful.
Meats were definitely not fresh. I felt SICK after the first taste of the pork belly and beef brisket. Especially the pork was EXTREMELY PORKY.
We asked not to serve the rest of the barbecue set (at least 70% of the food hadn’t been served) and a refund.
And the manager REFUSED THE REFUND and said THEY DID NOTHING WRONG!!!
Unreasonable and indeed money-hungry.
We left with hungry and sick stomach and only 30% “discount” on the bill after asking multiple times.
Will definitely not go there again and trust me, please choose other restaurants if you see this review.
Food was good here, I ordered the L.A. Galbi and it came with a side of rice, kimchi and a few other pickled veggies. The short ribs were a bit on the chewy side, but I thought they were seasoned well. I also ordered a seafood pancake, which I thought was good.
